2. The Group Choir (with friends) has 2 exciting events in their calendar:

First, they have been requested to provide some of the music for the Installation of the Diocesan Music Development Officer at Evensong in the Cathedral at the beginning of April. The Music Development Officer has some interesting ideas on helping children engage with Church through music and we hope to be able to use her skills in the Deanery soon.

Secondly they will be travelling at the beginning of May to Fresnay sur Sarthe, near Le Mans, to sing with 2 other Choirs – from Fresnay and Bassum, near Bremen in Germany. At a concert in Fresnay the joint choirs will be singing a programme of sacred music including extracts from Handel’s Messiah, Donizetti’s Ave Maria, (our contribution is Karl Jenkins’ Agnus Dei, from his Mass for Peace), and some additional items performed by each choir separately.

Stickney St Luke has suffered damage to the masonry and roof during the recent earthquake, which places her alongside the famous Church in Assisi, which suffered earthquake damage several years ago, and Lincoln Cathedral which was struck many centuries back. Therefore St. Luke’s joins a very select club!

4. A website has been created for one corner of the Group -
The web address is http://www.em-nl.homecall.co.uk/
That's for Eastville Midville and New Leake, perhaps there is someone who could do the same for Stickney, Stickford, and the Marden Hill Churches?
